PKG Multispeciality Hospital (PKG) is a 420 beds state-of-the-art multispeciality hospital spread across a sprawling campus of 3.7 acres, located in the heart of Newtown, Kolkata, one of India’s fastest growing satellite city & IT hub in close vicinity to the Kolkata Airport. Designed as per international standards PKG Multispeciality Hospital aims to be one of the most advanced hospitals in Eastern India with a depth of expertise in a wide range of advanced medical and surgical treatments, alongside a comprehensive blend of inpatient and outpatient healthcare offerings. Striking the goal of equipping skilled and renowned professionals with the latest technology and infrastructure and embedding the principles of constant upliftment through research, reskilling and adoption of newer technologies, PKG Hospital aims to set new standards in healthcare. The medical infrastructure includes multispeciality departments, 6 positive pressure operation theaters - laminar flow, well equipped with all modern gadgets for safely conducting all complicated surgeries, 85-bedded ICU (intensive care unit), 10-bedded dialysis unit, 4+4 open care system of level III NICU, isolated pressurized ICU with modern equipment, 6 super deluxe suits with attached guest room, a waiting lounge & cafeteria and specialist doctors and technicians always at your service.

Founder

Dr. Pradip K. Ghosh, originally from Khardah near Kolkata, moved to the United States for graduate studies in 1968. With a doctorate in economics and engineering from the State University of New York, a diploma in international law from London, and a leadership studies degree from Harvard University, he taught for 22 years at major universities. Dr. Ghosh, a prominent scholar, educator, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, serves as the Chairman of the World Congress of Religions. His vision includes the development of PKG Multispeciality Hospital, a unique center for medicine, academics, and translational research. The hospital aims to bring together medical professionals, scientists, and students to address diseases, discover remedies, and promote awareness of early screening and prevention, particularly in India and other developing nations.
